Discovery of unusually slowly rotating pulsar

Astronomers led by Manisha Caleb report discovery of previously unknown radio source PSR J0901-4046. It seems to be emitted by a pulsar (neutron star), but the time between the pulses is unusually long - 76 seconds. Previous slowest pulsar PSR J0250+5854 had a period of 24 seconds.
