There is a super Earth orbiting nearby star Gliese 514 on very eccentric orbit

Newly discovered exoplanet Gliese 514 b takes about half a year to go around its star. However its orbit is not circular as earth’s, but highly elliptical. Thanks to this, it stays in the star’s habitable zone only one third of its year. The exoplanet is about 5 times heavier than Earth.
