Exoplanet WASP-103 b orbits so close to its star, that it has deformed shape

Astronomers used space telescopes Hubble, Spitzer and CHEOPS to identify deformed shape of an exoplanet orbiting a star 1800 light years away. The exoplanet goes around the star in less than a day. The strong gravity of the star causes the tidal effect, which in turn deforms the exoplanet’s shape.
