Small black hole in neighboring galaxy was discovered with a method used only in our galaxy so far

There was a stellar mass black hole hidden in Large Magellanic Cloud, a dwarf galaxy orbiting Milky Way. Astronomers discovered it with a method used only in our galaxy up until now. They analyzed spectrum of a star orbiting the black hole, that revealed its movement.
