More than thousand fast radio bursts detected from a single source in mere 47 days

Astronomers detected 1 642 energetic short radio signals from source FRB 121102. New information could provide clues to the origin of mysterious FRB signals. The data comes from chinese telescope FAST.

FRB 121102 is known repeating FRB source. But even with the new data scientists were not able to find any periodicity within the set.
