According to a new study, Psyche surface contains at least 30 % of metal. Scientists expect Psyche to contain a lot of metals, but it is dificult to find out from Earth, where they see Psyche often as just a pixel in their observations. However that changed with submilimeter ALMA observatory in Chile, which shows the asteroid in 50 pixels resolution. The mission to asteroid Psyche is currently scheduled to launch next summer.
