For the first time, movements of gases in 3 dimensions observed in disk around a newborn star

According to a study in Nature magazine, the movements of CO gas in a protoplanetary disc around young star HD 163296 might be caused by newborn exoplanets. Other causes are possible, like the magnetism of the star itself, but exoplanets are the lead explanation so far.
